We are looking for an Accountant, based in the Dutch office of this multinational. This position will be part of a team based partly in Switzerland and partly in the Netherlands.

The Accountant;

• is responsible for the Financial Administration of several countries and ensures consistent, accurate and timely recording and reporting of a number of accounting entities (Belgium, Portugal, Hong Kong, Greece and Mexico) and related sales and purchases.
• is responsible for drawing up monthly, quarterly and annual reports boths financial as well as sales/trading related
• specific reporting to customers
• Is responsible for the cash management together with US based Treasury.department
• Provides technical support to the other accounting members.
• Is responsible for the SOx compliance of the department
• Participate in special projects as assigned

• Relevant Education at bachelor or academic level
• At least 3/4 years of relevant experience in an international trading company
• Previous exposure to working with multiple currency transactions
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written business English
• Self-starter with good interpersonal and technical skills
• Strong Microsoft Windows PC skills, with knowledge of JD Edwards software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with other nationalities in time zones throughout the world
