Credit Risk Analyst (Temporary)

We are looking for a credit risk analyst who is available on short notice for a period of approximately 3 till 6 months!

In this role in an international bank you will contribute to the growing business in Europe as part of the Credit Risk Management Division.

You will work with a real melting pot from people all over the world, at least 15 nationalities are represented who respect and are interested in each other's culture. The mode of working can be defined as informal and lines of communication are short.

As a Credit Risk Analyst you'll perform the credit risk assessment and review of potential and existing borrowers in project finance and corporate finance. You will also be expected to offer independent opinions as well as maintain credit risk management framework.

* To assess the application of internal credit rating applied by the front section;
* To analyse the credit portfolio and present such analysis to the bank's management on a regular basis (e.g. monthly, quarterly) for existing and potential borrowers;
* To support the front end in conducting stress testing from credit risk perspective, including stress scenario construction and performing an analysis;
* To prepare the credit review reports and report to Head of Credit Risk Management Division;
* To consult and liaise with the relevant divisions to perform credit analysis;
* Research on sector analysis or economic research primarily in Europe which are relevant to credit risk analysis;
* With the guidance from senior risk team members, to keep up with the key credit risk management framework documents, such as internal rating systems and credit granting processes of the parent bank and align those with the framework of this bank; To keep abreast of the ongoing development of relevant regulations within Europe, including but not limited to those provided by the DNB, ECT and EBA.

What you bring to the table:

• a Master degree and a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the area of credit risk analysis
• Experience within project finance or corporate finance, preferably within a bank
• You are very skilled in data mining and stress-testing using Microsoft Excel
• In addition, you are a team player, have good communication skills and are detail-oriented
• An international mindset and intercultural sensitivity

Salary range depends on your background and experience.
